Title: Dispenser
Department: Medical Wing
Objective
Assist the Medical Officer-in-Charge in carrying out dispensary-related matters in providing the best quality medical facilities as per the policy of the institution.
Role & Task
1- As soon as the duty starts in the morning, the concerned medical officer in charge should check the slip and stock register daily.
2. Checking all medicines and taking care of the cleanliness and maintenance of the medical store.
3. Prescribing medicines to patients daily and guiding patients in the use of medicines.
4- Injecting and bandaging the patients as per the prescription of the concerned doctor.
5. Dismissing the stock register of all medicines issued during the holiday.
6- Counting the medicines in the stock register.
7. Entering prescriptions issued to patients daily.
8. Create a monthly indent.
9. Receive monthly indent from the store and enter the stock register and computer.
10 Make a list of slow-moving drugs and take care of the Expiry date and inform the concerned authorities.
11. Perform any professionalism imposed by management.
Performance Evaluation:
· Performance appraisal will be done by the Medical Officer in charge.
· A performance review will be under the wording given in the relevant form, according to the working hours and duration issued by the management of the organization.
Qualifications
Diploma of Male Nurse/ Dispenser from Govt. recognized Medical Faculty institute
