Pakistan Ordnance Factories POF Artisan Training Scheme – Pakistan Ordnance Factories POF Artisan Jobs 2022 Batch No. 55 is available on this page.
For the recruitment of 100 Artisans for Batch No. 55 Phase-I, Pakistan Ordnance Factories is seeking applications from male and female Pakistani citizens.
Eligibility Criteria
This recruitment is open to male and female applicants who have completed their Matriculation with Science. Only eligible individuals between the ages of 17 and 21 may apply for this position.
Candidates from all parts of Pakistan are eligible to apply. The advertisement on the POF website www.pof.gov.pk describes the list of vacancies for each province.
POF Artisan Training Scheme Description
According to the Apprentices Ordinance 1962, the selected candidates will receive 18 months of training at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories Institute of Technology (POFIT) in Wah Cantt.
The monthly stipend is also described in detail on the POF website. During the training, the artisans will be provided with free uniforms and stationery.
The employer is not required to offer the apprentice a job under the provisions of the Apprenticeship Rule 1966. However, according to the POF requirements, a limited number of successful top apprentices can be placed on merit in BPS-5 (Skilled Workman). A provincial quota for newcomers will also be implemented.
