Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for developing and maintaining an effective and efficient ICFR framework. Also responsible for governing, monitoring and facilitating the financial processes to deliver high quality financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage Controls over reporting activities to determine the adequacy and effectiveness for all the related areas and levels at the Bank
- Coordinate with external consultants carrying out the Bank’s ICFR from planning to completion
- Make an assessment of the quantitative and qualitative considerations for the deficiency evaluation and a conclusion or judgment as to the significance of the deficiency.
- Review intra system reconciliations and intra system reconciliation processes
- Support units in implementation of processes relevant to Financial Control (FINCON)
- Bridge gap between other departments and FINCON teams.
- Assist in maintenance of Fincon Risk list and audit/ external information gathering projects.
- Review, update and consolidate FINCON related RCSAs
- Establish cross functional service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPIs) wherever necessary for efficient work practices.
- Strong Analytical Skills and Interpersonal Skills
- Hands on experience with Oracle
- Good understanding of Banking products
- ACCA or CA (Part Qualified)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
