Position Purpose:
To ensure security of premises and personnel through supervision of the security staff in an effective & smooth manner.
Job Description:
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
- Assess the security and safety of plant & ensure implementation of the security plan.
- Maintain the security & safety requirements and ensure compliance and adherence to legislation and agreed regulatory bodies processes and procedures.
- Manage, train & equip the security staff with necessary equipment for utilization of their services effectively.
- Maintain surveillance of all sensitive areas using CCTV monitoring, day/night patrolling, and flood lights etc.
- Manage the firefighting squad and also ensure liaison with local law enforcement agencies.
- Carry out surprise security checks during night shifts; maintain vigilance to prevent any un-wanted incidents.
- Carry out necessary safety drills and rehearsals of security staff for Firing & Quick response force.
- Ensure security of Foreigners/ visitors inside the factory premises and during move.
- Ensure safe custody of weapons and ammunition issuance to security staff.
- Ensure smooth traffic control in the entire premises of factory and outside the main gate.
- Review reports on incidents and breaches, prepare investigation reports.
- Any other duties assigned by the management.
Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelors / Masters
- Retd. Army Col./ Maj. with 18 to 20 years of relevant experience.
